For some variety, I traded my favorite mystery/thriller genre for a beach read, the audio version of the latest Elin Hilderbrand book.

I became a fan of her last three “high-concept” novels – Summer of ’69; 28 Summers; and now Golden Girl, which I think is my favorite of the three. Actually, I don’t really feel like I’m reading out of my usual genre, because there is plenty of mystery to go around in this novel. And the way Hilderbrand writes about the Great Beyond is priceless!
