REVIEW: FBI Myths and Misconceptions

March is Women’s History Month, so I’m reading this terrific FBI myth-busting book. The author should know. She’s a retired FBI special agent after 26 years, along with other trailblazing retired women from the Bureau. Jerri Williams specialized in economic fraud and corruption, and that made her an expert on schemers and scams. In this book, she debunks all sorts of Bureau clichés, and it makes for entertaining and informative reading. I especially enjoyed her reviews of law enforcement shows, and what Williams points out as real and what’s not accurate. You’ll start watching and streaming crime shows with a more discerning eye.

As it says on the cover–A manual for armchair detectives!
