Niki Danforth
Danforth, daughter of a Cold War covert intelligence officer, has the thriller/adventure gene in her DNA. After a career in New York television as a director/producer, this empty-nester recreated herself as an author of suspenseful mysteries. And like her character Ronnie Lake, she studied Japanese Aikido, earning a black belt in time for a decade birthday. Danforth lives in the New Jersey countryside with her husband and two drama-queen dogs. She also writes The Adventures of Misty & Moxie Wyoming, a children’s middle grade series. In her downtime, Danforth enjoys reading her favorite fiction and non-fiction authors. Here’s a list of some of the recent books she’s read.
