5 STARS A non-stop highly enjoyable page-turner!

The author is in his usual excellent form in this latest entry into the Prey series. This time, appealing tough guy Lucas Davenport hunts down an assassin threat against a political candidate. As always, Sandford introduces the killers early, and it’s fascinating and nerve-wracking to watch both sides work their way toward the climax of the story when the killers go after the candidate and Lucas figures it out, just in time.

The skillfully written tension between the two sides and impending deadline make for an exciting read!
